About the project

Pointing a camera at a flower is no new idea, and let’s be honest the flower is already beautiful. When we sought out to build a project around saffron we approached it with the intent to create an experience that speaks to more than just a flower, a spice.

We use the term alchemy to describe our work, and while it may sound like some form of medieval sorcery, it’s a bit simpler than that. Alchemy describes our practice of approaching each project with the stillness it takes to truly observe, the curiosity needed to then experiment and explore, and an appreciation for all of the elements at play. Exploring saffron in this way is what you find yourself inside of, a project built by collaborative artists who care deeply about their craft.

The Saffron Project is meant to inspire, to bring our creative community together and to spur action. After all, that is our job as commercial artists and ideas people, to draw others in.

Meet the collaborators

Translating our experiences, what we value and care about, is no longer the work of the individual. It is the work of collaborations. Like a roundtable meeting of sovereigns,  collaborators, each representing a unique craft, gather to act as catalyst for immense change and growth, and within the advertising industry, immense commerce.
